About the Coalition
The coalition meets the first Tuesday of each month at Manchester Elementary Middle School from 4pm until 5:30.
The coalition gathers people from all sectors of the community, including:
- Youth
- Parents
- Businesses
- Media
- School
- Youth-serving organizations
- Law Enforcement
- Religious/Fraternal organizations
- Civic/Volunteer groups
- Healthcare Professionals
- State/Local/Tribal Government agency with expertise in substance abuse
- Other organizations involved in reducing substance abuse
By connecting each of these groups, we can further impact substance abuse reduce among youth. When youth hear the message from each sector of the community that they are expected to be substance free, we see more youth making healthy choices.
Each meeting includes a focus discussion topic and an update on The Collaborative’s work initiatives in the community. Guest speakers may present on relevant topics. Attendees learn valuable information and tools in keeping our youth substance free. Networking and partnership opportunities are explored and advanced.
