Ghost Out Day 2011
May 2, 2011 kicked off Impaired Driving Awareness Week at Burr and Burton Academy. Burr and Burton’s Students Against Destructive Decision and Our Voices Exposed chapters partnered with The Collaborative to get the message out to the student body, faculty and staff about the causes of impaired driving and what can be done to prevent impaired driving. Over three hundred students signed a pledge to not drive impaired or to get into a vehicle driven by an impaired driver.
On Friday, May 6th Burr and Burton, in an all school assembly, participated in Ghost Out Day. To watch the assembly and to hear the messages, please watch the video.
