High School PLT
High School Peer Leadership Training-Feb. 10th & 11th
High School PLT participants who complete the training are eligible to be leaders for the Middle School Peer Leadership Training in March. This is an overnight training at the First Congregational Church in Manchester Village. High School PLT promises to be filled with fun and laughter while youth are engaged in the program. Each year the theme of the training changes, but the overall object remains to give youth the opportunity to gain understanding, cooperation, communication and leadership skills.
This year’s theme is a “Community of Stress Busters” and will focus on the impact stress has in our lives, how it relates to addiction, how we can better manage stress, and the important role community plays in our lives.
Space is limited to 30 participants. The cost is $75 and scholarships are available.
