Project Manager

Description:
The Project Manager will provide technical assistance and administrative support to The Collaborative and the PL4 project team with a focus on managing budgets, invoicing, and compliance for subcontracts and subawards. The position includes writing and reviewing grant applications and reports, managing contracts, attending meetings, and communicating with stakeholders. Community outreach includes assisting with the development of activities by participating in planning and facilitating projects.

Acceptable Experience and Training:

Project Management:
- Implement The Collaborative’s substance use prevention and community-building initiatives, such as writing grants, writing reports, attending meetings, communicating with stakeholders, and pursuing fee-for-service opportunities.
- Develop and implement all work plans associated with organizational programming and grant funding while ensuring adherence to objectives related to timeline, process, and outcome.
- Utilize Public Health information to support the mission and influence substance use prevention and community-building initiatives.
- Analyze data and communicate with the public or intended audiences.
- Attend meetings and communicate with grant funders, partners, and potential partners.
- Promotion and outreach to highlight accomplishments, successes, programs, activities, and events. Build engagement and prevention infrastructure.
- Participate in the management of communication systems, including emails, newsletters, press releases, social media sites, and content.
- Promote a safe, secure, and supportive environment.
- Contribute to organizational excellence by participating in programs, ensuring adherence to best practices, and maintaining compliance with childcare licensure standards.
- Assist with the development of activities by participating in planning and facilitating projects.
- Perform administrative, clerical, and operations tasks.
- Manage the entirety of subcontracting and sub-awarding systems, ensuring contracting compliance, subrecipient monitoring, proper invoicing, technical assistance, etc.
- Manage the subcontracting and sub-awarding budgets and invoicing, ensuring compliance and providing technical assistance, etc.
- Provide oversight and project management for initiatives that involve contractors, such as communications planning and health policy work.
Organizational Administration:
- Serves on internal teams such as communication, enterprise, or programs as needed.
- Participate in, promote, and design community-building opportunities to further the organization’s strategic plan.
- Assist in organizational activities such as retreats, strategic planning, and development projects.
- Manage and participate in information dissemination to internal and external partners.
- Oversee organizational capacity building and systems creation.
- Participate in organizational capacity building and systems creation.
- Manage project collaboration platforms.
- Participate in the management of organizational structure and systems for regional projects, including Advisory Committees, Prevention Coordination teams, and Lead Teams.
- Adherence to Federal, State, and local regulations.
- Work as a team to create and manage budgets.
- Evaluate projects and participate in program evaluations.
- Collect and track data and grant the required paperwork.
- Complete all required training.
