RTU Kickoff at Riley Rink
On September 21st, The Collaborative welcomed over 250 youth, caring adults, and other interested folks from Northshire schools and mountain towns to Northshire Civic Center’s Riley Rink at Hunter Park for the kickoff of our popular RTU program.
Successful Wellness Fair Collaboration Between BRACC, GMUHS and Community Organizations
On June 9th, Black River Area Community Coalition (BRACC) collaborated with the Green Mountain Union Middle/High School (GMUHS) in support of substance-free environments and mental health for their students. BRACC sponsored an end-of-the-school-year Student Wellness Fair at GMUHS where local health/wellness/youth-serving organizations were invited to set up a booth and engage with students and parents as they walked around.
Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age Screening on March 23rd
Some movies just become more meaningful over time. The 2016 award winning documentary, Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age, meets that standard. It will enlighten and inform the audience again at a special showing at the Flood Brook School on Thursday, March 23rd at 6:30 pm. All members of the community, especially middle school students and their parents from the mountain towns, are welcome. Admission is free.
